I sent my recent writings to my close friends and expected to receive feedback. But only two answered. Why does nobody care? I was disappointed.
Nobody cares about what you do, and nobody should not.
Family and close friends should not. Nobody should care about what you do. Until… you provide value and help them. It is that simple, and it is that fair.
How often do you think about others? About what they do? About what’s going on in their life? So, why should they care about you?
Do not expect anything from anybody. Only help and be valuable.
The problem was in my expectations. If I did not expect any feedback at all, even from close friends and family, how happy would I be if I received two reviews of my writings?
When sharing with others, expect to be ignored and nothing in return. Nobody owes you anything.
Be your judge and write for yourself. You are the only person who truly cares about what you do.
