Introduction to UX Design by Georgia Institute of Technology

I completed another course about UX Design by Georgia Institute of Technology and want to summarize my journey.

Earlier I reviewed the UX course I took from CareerFoundry. This time I decided to invest more time and take a course with a longer path. I try to dive deeper into all these UX things.

I believe it is a tough job to create a course, and I always keep it in mind while watching videos, reading materials, and answering questions in any course.

Georgia Institute of Technology prepared the course for beginners that do not know anything about UX design. And they succeeded with this goal.

The course is totally for beginners, and they really describe the basics of UX. It might be a good start.

The most problematic part for me was the absence of real-life examples, or if they were, they were too theoretical. I do not criticize, and I really do not know how to do it, but it would be good if they could add some practical assignments.

After finishing this course, you will have an understanding of basic UX terminology, but you won’t have the tools to solve UX problems. So, if you want just to understand the basics and terminology, you can go for it. But if you expect to start practicing after the course, you need to find another or just start practicing.
