Why I don't build and replace what I pay for

I am running a business. I use calendars for booking calls and pay for tools like support chat, uptime monitoring, referral software, and more.

And I am a polyglot software engineer who has been writing code for over 15 years.

Suppose I could replace every tool I use in one shot. Maybe, two shots.

But why would I? Why should I spend time on that? Instead of focusing on polishing my core business, spending time on marketing, and making my customers happy?

I don’t want to spend time supporting and building all these tools. Am I missing the point?
