Review of "The Tech Resume Inside Out" book

2021-10-14

I have recently read the book about writing software engineering resumes. I was amazed at how many things I did not think of while I was writing my resume.

I never thought about the design and UX of my resume and how easily recruiters can read it to help them filter me out or invite me to the next stage.

I never thought about the unified structure and style of the resume that it helps to find the most relevant information about me.

What about the language used in describing work experience? How should I present my skills? How can I stand out?

I am totally against cheating and faking experience in the resume. And I fall in love with the book. It helps improve the response rate to your resume without any cheating, literally, by enhancing the resume’s template, language, and structure.
