The goal is the goal!
Do I want to work hard, or do I want to get the results? Do I want to have a journey? Or do I want to get to the goal as soon as possible?
I might work super hard every minute of my life, and I still won’t get any closer to becoming great at what I do.
Working hard is not a formula for success. It is a side effect — the side effect of the strong desire to get to the destination.
Once I believe that working hard is the way, I forget about the destination, And I start playing the “work hard” game that leads nowhere. It is a slippery road.
I must do what I must do to get to the goal and don’t play journey games. Otherwise, I can get stuck and not get anywhere.
The journey is not the goal. The goal is the goal!
