I want to share why I disabled all new paying customer notifications besides churn.
Some days I feel that I can’t do it and feel miserable, and some days I regard myself as the most mighty human on the planet and can do everything.
My current guess is that both feelings don’t matter much and are produced by my attachment to failures and wins. Yes, wins.
Seeing notifications about new customers raises my mood and makes me feel “happier”. But it is costly. The price I pay is mood swings, and I feel miserable on other days when nobody subscribes.
I have disabled all notifications and feel much better. But that’s not the only reason—working further on my internal peace.
