I have lots of friends who don’t work in software, and they don’t want and don’t plan to build anything.

Musicians I know keep playing the guitar and singing. Mechanics want to repair cars. Doctors want to cure people. Chefs want to cook.

Get out of the bubble and make more friends who are not in software.
