Being aware of being aware
One of the problems with meditations I had was that I expected to get to the state of pure bliss and shine everyday.
Englithment for me was about getting the same feeling as I get from winning in real life, but permanently. For example, that feeling when you buy a new car, but now you feel that way every day and every minute.
It was dumb! It made my suffering even worse!
Later, I realized that meditations are about dissolving my Self and getting to the state of being aware of being aware. That’s where real peace lies. I want to call it happiness, but it is not in the sense how we use that word.
That’s the book to my taste that shares this idea perfectly.
