Some projects are naturally easier to market while you are building them. If you are building in a hot market and the stage of the right audience, you will automatically promote your product by making it.
There would be no need to market it. You can share features and tell your story, discuss the feedback right away and improve the product.
I need to finish the screenshot API, try to promote it, and then think if I should pivot to a different market.
